Canadian leisure airline Air Canada Rouge will fly between Montreal and Bogota starting from June 2020 with 3 weekly frequencies.
Continuing with its sustained growth in the region, Air Canada through its subsidiary Rouge will start flights to Bogotá from the city of Montreal, thus being the second city in Canada that will connect with the Colombian capital.
Montreal – Bogota
starting from the 2 June 2020, flights between the Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport and El Dorado de Bogotá, will operate at the following times with three weekly frequencies on Tuesdays, thursday and saturday:
- Flight AC1952 will take off from Montreal at 22:45 hours and will land in Bogotá the next day at 04:15 hours with a duration of 5 hours and 30 direct flight minutes.
- Flight number AC1953 will take off from Bogotá at 09:00 hours and will land back in Montreal at 16:20 hours with a duration of 7 hours and 20 direct flight minutes.
These flights will be operated on Boeing 767-300ER aircraft of 25 available in the airline fleet, which are configured with a capacity of 264 passengers in two classes ( 18 in executive and 246 in economic).

The first prices published and that are already on sale in the airline website are the following:
- Montreal – Bogota: from $300 Dollars.
- Bogota – Montreal: from $282 Dollars.
- Round trip including taxes: from $580.70.
Growth
The opening of these flights between Montreal and Bogota join the existing ones between Toronto and El Dorado, where Air Canada Rouge operates with 6 weekly flights from Tuesday to Sunday, also on Boeing767-300ER aircraft.
It also adds to the next route between Ecuador and Canada of the airline between the Mariscal Sucre International Airports of Quito and Toronto Lester B. Pearson, in what will be the first historical direct route between both countries.
