At Lima airport new boarding rooms are inaugurated to promote, in something, to the main air terminal of Peru.

New departure lounges
With an investment of $3.5 millions of dollars, works carried out include 5 new boarding gates, which adds up to a total of 44 departure gates for domestic flights.
Thanks to these improvements, The airport operator estimates that it will provide a better service to 20.607 additional passengers daily.
“We are very happy to present this new space, which allows us to improve and optimize our services for the benefit of passengers and terminal users. This latest improvement, will allow us to expedite 10% the flow of attention of national passengers and better reorder those flights that take off at the same time”, pointed out Pamela Moreno, Operations Manager of Lima Airport Partners.
Thanks to these works, the size and capacity for the attention of passengers with national destinations has been increased. It is so, the departure lounges located on the first floor have capacity for 148 people, while those on the second floor, with this new expansion, for 345 passengers.
It should be noted that part of the national hall remodeling project, included the expansion of the baggage claim room, inaugurated at the end of 2018; the expansion of the national departure lounges; and the last phase of the project includes the expansion of the national check-in area, which will have 18 new service positions and will be open to the public in the coming weeks.
