“Achieving this operation has been a great logistical challenge for Avianca. Taking as a priority the safety of our staff and the operation, we have adapted to the regulations of the different countries to continue providing our cargo services uninterruptedly.. With this first passenger plane flight we were able to transport nearly 20 tons of essential goods on each trip” stated Kurt Schosinsky, General Director of Avianca Cargo.
Avianca Cargo currently has six A330-200F freighters, plus five aircraft from the affiliated company AeroUnión, three A300-600 and two B767-200. The fleet of this operation serves the international market covering Dallas, The Angels, Chicago, New York, Miami, Madrid, Brussels and the main cities of Latin America.

Only between 16 al 22 of March, Avianca Cargo mobilized more than 6 million kilograms of cargo. of this volume, 600 tons were foodstuffs such as fish, fruits and vegetables and others 250 tons of medicines, medical equipment and toiletries.
