  12. Good Morning
I need information about the following:
The flights that are being operated Havana-Managua with a technical stopover in Cancun, with VivaAerobus aircraft…… that are currently for sale……
On those VivaAerobus charter flights, Cubans with final destination Managua can board, no need to have a visa to Mexico ?
Would there be a problem with that??
I ask you because the managers who are offering those air tickets here in Cuba say that as long as it is a one-hour technical layover in Cancun, there is no need to get off, there are no problems..
    Will this be true?
Can Cubans without a visa to Mexico board that flight?
    I appreciate any information.
    Thanks

  13. AVIANCA notified me today of a change to the round trip flight from Costa Rica to Los Angeles, THAT. Now the duration of the flight will go from 6h20m to 7h55m. The new itinerary indicates “Direct flight”, but when consulting the reservation I see that they included a “technical stop” in Guatemala. They kept the same reservation code. I worry about having to stay 1:35 more hours on the plane, which does not agree with the current situation by Covid. Are these changes normal or is there any claim? Thanks

      1. Thank you very much for your reply Nicholas.. AVIANCA announced this new direct flight, which is the one that interests me, in order to ensure as little time as possible on the plane, So I would travel with 2 children of 7 Years and a half. Additionally, the previous itinerary would have allowed us to have lunch in Costa Rica before leaving, avoiding additional exposure to possible contagion. Reviewing the current offers, I see that this direct AVIANCA flight was eliminated. I guess it was not profitable for them, so they decided that “technical stop”. I imagine that during that “technical stop” additional passengers will board in Guatemala. Are the penalties applicable when it was the airline that changed the itinerary and therefore the flight time??

        1. You would have to check with the local regulation, but i would think not, given that the passenger was complied with by offering him another travel alternative without canceling his flight. In any case, don't worry about the weather on the plane, while wearing a mask, it is very safe to fly.
