The Venezuelan state airline Conviasa announces that it will also have flights to Moscow in Russia and Tehran in Iran with planes Airbus A340. Conviasa press photo.
Adding to the exotic routes of Conviasa, which among its network of destinations has flights to Damascus the capital of Syria with its for now unique Airbus A340-200 (route not operating), this company is preparing to fly to Russia and Iran.

With the purchase of a second Airbus A340, but from the version -300 that will arrive between the third and fourth week of November in Caracas, the airline announced its international expansion project, which also includes the additional incorporation of another three Airbus 340, to complete five aircraft, it is still unknown where these planes will arrive from.
