Starting the month of October Conviasa increases flights to Quito from Caracas, going to operate 3 weekly frequencies on Embraer aircraft 190.
After having started charter flights to Quito Mariscal Sucre International Airport the 10 July 2019, The Venezuelan state flag airline Conviasa increases its flights to the capital of Ecuador.
Initially, were 2 weekly frequencies proposed by the airline and despite the new limitations on visa requirements for Venezuelan passengers, The airline has seen potential in its operation in the country, where too fly to Guayaquil and recently requested before the National Civil Aviation Council to regularize its operation towards the "Main Port".
Flights will begin to operate on Mondays, Wednesday and Friday, This last day being the new frequencies to Quito. The operation of this additional flight will be at the following schedule:
- Flight V0 5312 will take off from Caracas at 08:00 am and will land in Quito at 09:30 am.
- Flight V0 5313 will take off from Quito at 10:30 am and will land back in Caracas at 02:00 pm.
Flights on Mondays and Wednesdays will continue to operate in the schedules previously indicated by the airline.
Equally, The price remains fixed with a single payment rate. $300 dollars round trip including taxes.
Conviasa has managed to solidify its operation in the country in a very short time, this after the suspension, which means to be temporary on the part of Avior Airlines to Guayaquil, plus the reduction of just 1 weekly flight Laser Airlines between Caracas and Guayaquil, route that began at the end of 2018.
