The first batch of vaccines that arrives in Ecuador must be distributed at very low temperatures, staying frozen to -70 degrees Celsius. To guarantee that temperature throughout the flight, the product has been packed in boxes of 32 kilos, of which, 23 kilos are dry ice. Each box contains 5 product trays for a total of 195 tubes. In addition to vaccinations, Air France KLM Martinair Cargo will contribute with the importation of kits for the SARS-CoV-2 Rapid Antigen Test, which yields results in 15 minutes.
