This Airbus A321LR delivered to JetBlue (correcting my previous comment) was assembled in Hamburg.
Possibly this A321LR has been assembled in Mobile, Alabama. It is interesting to see how the transatlantic flights made by Boeing 757-200 Today the Airbus A321LR can do it like JetBlue did London; the future, IBERIA would operate from Madrid to Guayaquil with the Airbus A321XLR since currently with the A330-200 the occupancy percentage does not completely satisfy the airline.
What about Iberia is a comment or a reality? Because it seems to me that autonomy does not give.
Hi Nicolas, yes it is a reality. Remember that there are currently Airbus A321s, A321Neo and the A321LR. Currently, the first Airbus A321XLR is being built, which will have extra autonomy than the LR version. (Long Range). IBERIA has orders 8 Airbus A321XLR and I read on simpleflying.com that I would use it for Madrid-Guayaquil to make the operation more profitable.
A reality, but the autonomy I am sure is not enough for that flight.
It is true that the autonomy of the new Airbus A321XLR is about 8700 Kms from Madrid to Guayaquil direct is short but with a stop in Bogotá or another point IBERIA will decide it.
Will have to see, but I see it as difficult and out of Iberia's way of operating..
