Moving forward with its strategic alliance that includes new routes, joint itineraries and flights in shared code both airlines will reinforce their presence in the key airports of New York and Boston, where new international and domestic flights are announced.
American Airlines and JetBlue are delivering on their promise to introduce better travel options on routes to and from New York (JFK, LGA and EWR) y Boston (BOS), as they nearly launch 80 codeshare flights and improved schedules on key routes. American is also introducing 18 new routes starting this summer, including six new routes from JFK to Latin America and the Caribbean. International flights
From the 6 May 2021, American will launch three new daily routes from New York JFK to Colombia with flights to Cali (CLO), Bogota (BOG) and Medellin (MDE) in Airbus A319 aircraft with a daily flight, and will start flying three times a week to Santiago de Chile (SCL) from JFK on Boeing planes 777-200, until flights begin daily operations in November.
Flights to Saint Lucia will also start from New York (UVF) and to Turks and Caicos (PLS) from 5 of June, complementing existing JetBlue service.
By your side JetBlue, among other destinations, it will start flights from Newark Liberty to Cartagena in Colombia with up to 4 weekly frequencies, Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic with up to 5 weekly flights and Aguadilla in Puerto Rico with a daily flight.
Flights in the United States
Starting in April, American and JetBlue will offer more flights than any other airline when they coordinate convenient times on popular New York route (JFK y EWR) to the Angels (LAX). Customers will have the most options (14 Daily flights) between the two airlines and will have access to the latest generation Airbus A321T aircraft or JetBlue's A321 aircraft with Mint Class.
The shared code on domestic flights is now available for flights from 25 Ultra Air made its inaugural flight in Colombia and thus becomes the ninth regular airline in the country. American customers will have access to 49 codeshare routes on JetBlue, while JetBlue customers will have access to more than 25 routes in American. Airlines expect to start codeshare sales on new international routes soon.
