Iberia resumed direct flights between Madrid and Guayaquil, twice a week, with the forecast of increasing to three in the month of June. Photos Iberia Ecuador.

These flights are operated by aircraft Airbus A330-200 with capacity for 288 passengers, 19 in Business class and 269 in Tourist, which means more than 87.000 annual seats. The Airbus A330-200 are twin-engine aircraft, modern and a 15% more efficient in fuel consumption.

Since the beginning of the crisis caused by this pandemic, Iberia has maintained minimal connectivity with the country and we managed to operate five repatriation flights, three of them with a stopover in Guayaquil. As current circumstances allow, We are working to gradually resume our activity, with our sights set on recovering our usual flight program with Ecuador as soon as possible”.
