It is confirmed, direct operation of Iberia between Guayaquil and Madrid has a new date for restarting flights, From the month of May the main Spanish airline will return to land in the José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport.

- Flight IBE-6460 takes off from Guayaquil at 12:05 hours and lands back in Madrid at 06:00 hours of the following day operating on Wednesdays and Fridays with a duration of 10 hours and 55 direct minutes.
It should be noted that the first return flight from Iberia to José Joaquín de Olmedo will take off on 2 April and will land in the early hours of 3 April and two days later the return flight will depart, given that for this moment the Iberia planes will spend the night in Guayaquil for the term of 2 days.
These flights will be operated by Airbus A330-202 aircraft capable of 288 passengers in two classes (19 in business and 269 in Economics).
Until now, solo Air Europa is flying between Madrid and Guayaquil, but with scale Quito with their Boeing planes 787 Dreamliner, while for the 3 July, the return of Plus Ultra to the Ecuador on a weekly basis.
