New planes join the subsidiary Azul Conecta to connect even more destinations within Brazil. The sub-regional airline of Azul announces the order for up to ten Cessna Gran Caravan EX aircraft from the manufacturer Textron Aviation. Two planes will arrive in Belo Horizonte on 6 October and another three until the first quarter of 2022. Total, there are five firm orders with another five purchase options.
In this way, Azul maintains its growth and expanding its network of destinations, with a diversified fleet, but that allows you to cover cities that other airlines cannot, where its active fleet is made up of:

Conecta's Cessna Gran Caravan EX were configured to transport up to nine passengers, plus two pilots, and are equipped with Pratt engines & Whitney con 867 horsepower. More efficient in fuel consumption, The Caravan EX is also quieter compared to previous versions and operates at a cruising speed of 340 km/h. The arrival of these planes also contributes to the renewal plan of the Azul fleet, reducing the average age of the company's aircraft.
“Azul's business plan is to develop regional and subregional aviation in Brazil, and our operations with Conecta since last year represent it.
