Again, the requirements to enter the Peru from abroad, as a measure to reactivate the air sector, tourist and commercial offering more flexibility for passengers.
Months ago, Peru had restrictive measures to enter, but in recent months the government has understood the importance of airline industry and has already presented new requirements to travel to Peru in force since the 1 November 2021.
The requirements to enter Peru from November
Entering into force from November onwards, these are the current requirements, beyond the respective to ID, passport and visa according to the case of each traveler:
- Passengers must have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing they are fully vaccinated at least 14 days before arrival; O
- one negative NAAT COVID-19 test result issued at most 72 hours before departure from the first boarding point.
- The accepted tests are: CRISPR, HDA, LAMP, LampORE, MPOCT, NAAT, NEAR, NGS, PCR, RTLamp, RT-PCR, RealTimeRTPCR, SDA, DARK, TRC, WGS, Orf1abgenedetection, Egenedetection, Ngenedetection, Rdrpgenedetection y Sgenedetection.
- This does not apply to passengers under the age of 12 years without symptoms of COVID-19.
- Los pasajeros deben completar una «Declaración Jurada de Autorización de Salud y Geolocalización» en http://e-notificacion.migraciones.gob.pe/dj-salud/ within the 72 hours prior to departure.
- Passengers may be subject to quarantine as determined by the authorities in case of presenting symptoms.

I imagine that North American citizens should present their passport and full vaccination card when they leave Peru for the USA, just without much comment.
And also a negative PCR or antigen test.
