Meses atrás, Perú contaba con medidas restrictivas para ingresar, but in the últimos meses el gobierno ha entendido la importancia de la industry toérea y ha presentado ya nuevos requisitos para viajar a Perú valid from the 1 November 2021.
Los requisitos para ingresar a Perú since November
Entering into force from November onwards, these are the current requirements, más allá de lo respectivo a cédrama, pasaporte y visa según el caso de cada viajero:
- Los pasajeros deben tener un certificado de vacunación COVID-19 que demuestre estar completamente vacunados al menos 14 días antes de la llegada; O
- un resultado negativo de la prueba COVID-19 NAAT emitido como máximo 72 hours before departure from the first boarding point.
- The accepted tests are: CRISPR, HDA, LAMP, LampORE, MPOCT, NAAT, NEAR, NGS, PCR, RTLamp, RT-PCR, RealTimeRTPCR, SDA, DARK, TRC, WGS, Orf1abgenedetection, Egenedetection, Ngenedetection, Rdrpgenedetection y Sgenedetection.
- This does not apply to passengers under the age of 12 años sin síntomas de COVID-19.
- Los pasajeros deben completar una “Declarationón Jurada de Autorización de Salud y Geolocalización” on http://e-notificacion.migraciones.gob.pe/dj-salud/ within the 72 hours prior to departure.
- Los pasajeros pueden estar sujetos a cuarentena según determinación de las autoridades en caso de presentar síntomas.
We remind travelers to be aware of the requisitos de su país of destination con el objetivo de estar al día de los lineamientos, dado que estos pueden cambiar según avance de la pandemia y decisiones gubernamentales.

I imagine that North American citizens should present their passport and full vaccination card when they leave Peru for the USA, just without much comment.
And also a negative PCR or antigen test.
