A new airport infrastructure forms part of our region and hopes to become, in the shortest time possible, the great alternative and point of air development in Mexico, Despite having a large front that rejects the work that left behind the advanced construction in Texcoco, it is essential to show this new work.

Many details are still under construction or under development, but the first images allow us to know more details about this millionaire investment.

Felipe Angeles International Airport

Its construction began on 17 October 2019, under the responsibility of the Corps of Engineers of the Mexican Army, who adhered at all times to the directive to build an austere airport, modern, functional, colorful and in the shortest possible time. This delivery includes the first phase of its construction, which was done during 2 years five months, with a budget of 74,305 million Mexican pesos creating 162,000 jobs, occupying a total area of 2,487 hectares, with which it is intended to start the functions of said airport, providing service, initially to an influx of between 19.5 and 20 million users per year; later, in its maximum development it will reach a capacity of between 85 and 90 millions.

in addition, was created with an airport city that includes hotels, restaurants, malls, hospitals and service facilities. inside planning, it was contemplated to facilitate the arrival at the Felipe Ángeles International Airport, designing a trunk axis of circulation, main artery for traffic flows to and from the passenger terminal building; Similarly, a parking lot and an intermodal land transport terminal were built that will be the hub for the different means of transport used by passengers to get to the airport.

The AIFA approach scheme, for 180 passengers will be 33 minutes. For better autonomy, It has its own fuel terminal that efficiently supplies aircraft, in addition, contemplates the use of clean and renewable energies. All of the above makes Felipe Angeles International Airport, a functional airport complex that gives the Mexican airline industry a new infrastructure, boosting the growth of the country, forming a fundamental part of international aeronautics.

It should be noted that, since the beginning of construction a great variety of paleontological wealth was located, which was highlighted by the findings of: 701 mammoths, 248 camels, 72 horses, 15 lazy, 28 fish, 2 gliptodontes, 2 bison, 2 Sabertooth, 109 of other species and 36 unidentifiable; The foregoing was worked in conjunction with the National Institute of Anthropology and History, what proved to us that we can build without destroying our past.
