Azul Linhas Aéreas started its operations in 2008 and since then it has grown to serve more than 150 destinations within Brazil, and fly non-stop to USA, Europe and South America. Azul took delivery of America's first A330neo in 2019 and operates 12 A330 Family aircraft. In the next weeks, Azul will start operating four A350-900s to further expand its route offering and benefit from the commonality concept of Airbus.

In Latin America and the Caribbean, Airbus has sold more than 1.150 aircraft and has an order book of more than 500, more than 700 in operation throughout the region, which represents almost 60 percent market share of fleet in service. From 1994, Airbus has achieved approximately 70 percent of net orders in the region.
