After Aeromexico obtain from the competent authorities of Mexico and of the USA the necessary authorizations to start direct flights from Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) to George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas, weighs a la Category II that weighs on Mexico, the airline formally started this new direct route.

Aeroméxico began AIFA flights to Houston

This route began operations on 1 May of 2023 with a daily flight in teams Embraer 190; flights scheduled to Houston from the International Airport of the Mexico City (AICM) continue to be served normally with the previously known frequencies.

This is the ninth destination that Aeromexico offers from the AIFA, and the first route to connect said airport with USA.
