Copa Airlines announced the start of flights to the renowned musical city of Venezuela, Barquisimeto, in Lara State, from 17 October 2023.
The opening of this new destination will allow greater connectivity for all passengers traveling to or from Barquisimeto or the central western region of the country via the Hub of the Americas.

the flight of Copa Airlines to the city of Barquisimeto in Venezuela will initially operate with three weekly frequencies on Tuesdays, thursday and saturday, leaving at 9:13 a.m. from Panama (local time) and arriving at the Jacinto Lara International Airport at 12:18 p.m. (local time). The return flight will depart the same days from Barquisimeto to the 1:28 p.m., arriving in Panama City at 2:33 p.m. (local time).
