This good response from passengers to the Wingo product during this first month of 2024, has led us to be optimistic about the company's operational performance for the annualized year. We are already the third player in the national air market and our objective for the 2024 “is to earn more and more the preference of a greater number of travelers”, expressed Eduardo Lombana, Wingo CEO.

Regarding the international market, Wingo will focus its capacity efforts on initiating new routes to Venezuela, with the aim of connecting Caracas with more cities of Colombia; as well as other cities in the neighboring country with Bogota. On the other hand, It also has plans to implement new routes to destinations in the Caribbean and Central America., from different airports in Colombia.

“On the national front we are going to concentrate on strengthening the product with a greater number of frequencies on the routes already operated.. Regarding the international market, We are analyzing a range of new routes from different airports such as El Dorado, the José María Córdova and the Ernesto Cortissoz towards new and already operated destinations in Latin America. Our expansion efforts this year already began with the launch of the Medellín – Caracas last January”, pointed out Lombana.
