JetSMART select Pratt engines & RTX Whitney GTF™ to propel 35 additional family aircraft Airbus A320neo.
Pratt & Whitney, an RTX company (NYSE: RTX), announced that JetSMART has selected GTF engines to power 35 additional family aircraft Airbus A320neo, including nine A321XLR. Pratt & Whitney will also provide JetSMART GTF engine maintenance through a comprehensive EngineWise® service agreement.

JetSMART, the ultra low cost airline (ULCC) from South America, selected the GTF engine to power 70 A320neo family aircraft in June 2019. The company also operates other 15 GTF family aircraft A320neo in leasing system and a fleet of 11 A320ceo family aircraft powered by the V2500® engine.
