“We know that San Andrés needs us and that the high seasons are essential for the Island. Therefore, in addition to increasing connectivity with the routes that we inaugurated in 2023 from Cali and Medellín, We now announce seven incremental frequencies in operations from Bogotá and Cali. Avianca increases flights to San Andrés
With the announced increase, the airline will offer its travelers every week, from August, 45 frequencies from Bogota (more than six flights daily), seven from Cali (three permanent and four seasonal) and 11 from Medellin, thanks to the addition of two additional permanent flights on this route since April 2024.
Thanks to the opening of new routes and the increase in frequencies of Avianca, which today is the airline that connects the most to San Andrés, more of 260.000 travelers flew to and from the Island only during the first quarter of 2024, thus doubling the number of passengers transported by the airline compared to the same period of 2023.
