The airline had go back to Venezuela with new direct flights between Saint Joseph on Costa Rica and Caracas.
With a new route, avianca finally returns to Venezuela, after having left this country 16 august 2017 due to diplomatic differences, operational and others.
Avianca returns to Venezuela flying from San José
Avianca announced his return to Venezuela with the direct route Saint Joseph – Caracas, that will connect 3 times a week Juan Santamaria International Airport on Costa Rica with the Simón Bolivar International Airport in Venezuela.
The flights will start on 16 December and will make available to customers more than 1080 seats per week to fly between both destinations.

Avianca reiterates that in line with the instruction given by the United States Department of Transportation (DOT, for its acronym in English) to all airlines operating in that country, air transport services between Venezuela and USA Are not avaliables.
From Saint Joseph, Travelers will be able to connect to San Salvador, Guatemala, Bogota, Medellin, Mexico, Quito and others.
