The airline Qatar Airways announced that it will restart flights to Buenos Aires, together with others 10 destinations that were suspended during the pandemic.

One of the world's largest global airlines, for its connection options throughout the world, announced during the ITB Berlin its plans for this 2023. With a fleet of over 230 planes and more of 170 destinations will seek to reach even more routes in its network.

Restart of flights and more routes

The airline announced more than seven new destinations planned for launch in 2023, including Chittagong, Already, Kinshasa, Lyon, While, Toulouse and Trabzon. Flights to Buenos Aires return

From the 8 December the airline's connection between Doha and – Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires, which was suspended in March 2020 due to pandemic restrictions.

With a daily flight operated by Boeing aircraft 777-300 with capacity for 354 passengers in three classes, The airline has already put this route up for sale, which reconnects its second destination in the region with the Middle East.

Regarding the hours, these will operate with the following itinerary and are on sale from $1.100 round trip:

  • Flight QR773 takes off from Doha at 8:15 am and lands in Sao Paulo at 4:50 pm.
  • Flight QR773 takes off from Sao Paulo at 5:35 pm and lands in Buenos Aires at 8:25 pm.
  • Flight QR774 takes off from Buenos Aires at 11:00 pm and lands in Sao Paulo at 1:50 am.
  • Flight QR774 takes off from Sao Paulo at 3:20 am and land back in Doha at 11:00 pm.

Increase in routes

The following destinations are scheduled to receive an increase in flight frequency:

  • Abuja – Port Harcourt – increased from two weekly flights to three
  • Abuja – Kano – increased from three weekly flights to four
  • Athens – increased from seven weekly flights to 14
  • Belgrade: increased from five weekly flights to seven
  • Berlin – increased 11 weekly flights to 14
  • Bucharest – increased 10 weekly flights to 14
  • Cairo – increased 21 weekly flights to 28
  • Copenhagen: increased from four weekly flights to seven and 10 since winter season 2023/24
  • Finnair also operates 7 weekly flights, with a total of 17 weekly in Copenhagen
  • Denpasar – increased 14 weekly flights to 21
  • Dublin: increase of 12 weekly flights to 14
  • Düsseldorf – increased from seven weekly flights to 11 for the winter season 2023/24
  • Edinburgh – increased 10 weekly flights to 14
  • Hanoi: increase of 10 weekly flights to 12
  • Hong Kong – increased 11 weekly flights to 14
  • Khartoum – increased from seven weekly flights to 14
  • Larnaca: increased from seven weekly flights to 14
  • Londres Gatwick: increased from seven weekly flights to 10 (14 weekly flights for the high summer season)
  • Londres Heathrow: increase of 42 weekly flights to 45
  • Madrid – increases 16 weekly flights to 18
  • Manila – increased from 17 weekly flights to 18
  • Milan – increased 16 weekly flights to 21
  • Mogadishu: increased from three weekly flights to four
  • Nagpur: increased from four weekly flights to seven
  • Oslo: increased from seven weekly flights to 12 for the winter season 2023/24
  • Phuket: increase of 14 weekly flights to 21 for the winter season 2023/24
  • Saigon: increase of 10 weekly flights to 12
  • Sarajevo: increased from three weekly flights to four for the summer season of 2023
  • Sofia: increased from three weekly flights to four weekly flights in the summer and five weekly flights in the winter season 2023/24
  • Stockholm – increased from three weekly flights to five for the winter season 2023/24
  • Finnair also operates 7 weekly flights, with a total of 12 weekly in Stockholm
  • Taif – increased from three weekly flights to seven
  • Vienna – increased 10 weekly flights to 14
  • warsaw: increased from seven weekly flights to 14 starting winter season 2023/24
  • Yerevan: increased from seven weekly flights to 10
  • Zagreb – increased from four weekly flights to seven
  • Zurich – increased by 10 weekly flights to 14
