Air India, owned by Tata Group, has officially revealed the orders it previously placed for 10 wide body aircraft Airbus A350 and 90 Family single-aisle aircraft A320.
The latest aircraft order, which is already included in the order book of Airbus for 2024, adds to the 40 A350 aircraft and 210 planes of the Family A320 ordered by Air India in 2023. Air India's total Airbus aircraft order book now stands at 344, and six A350-900 have already been delivered.
The airline also confirmed the signing of the FHS-C service package, that will help optimize the performance and reliability of the growing fleet of A350 Air India. This contract confirms the position of Airbus as the largest provider of hourly maintenance services in the A350 of the world.

The aircraft and services orders are part of Air India's ongoing fleet modernization program.
