The airline Avianca begins the operation of flights that connect to Medellin with Guayaquil and Bogotá with Havana.
Avianca reported that it launched the new routes that will connect Medellin with Guayaquil (although it is really a restart since the route operated for 2023) and Bogotá with Havana (also restart), offering its customers new alternatives on direct flights to and from ECuador and the Caribbean.

The flights are operated on A320 aircraft with capacity for 180 passengers, what represents 1.080 atrips between Medellín and Guayaquil a week operated by Avianca Ecuador, and 2.500 weekly seats on the Bogotá-La H routechildren.
Customers who wish to purchase their tickets can do so through avianca.com, the application mdislike, physical points of sale and travel agencies.
These routes will operate at the following times and frequencies:
- Guayaquil – Medellín flight AV8398 takes off at 13:25 p.m. and land at 15:05 p.m on Mondays, Wednesday and Friday from 16 from December.
- Medellin – Guayaquil flight AV8399 takes off at 18:15 p.m. and land at 20:05 p.m on Mondays and Wednesdays.
- Medellin – Guayaquil flight AV8399 takes off at 16:55 p.m. and land at 18:45 p.m on Fridays from 20 from December.
