Saudia Group, represented by Saudi, the flag airline of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and flyadeal, the group's low-cost airline, signed a firm order 105 additional family aircraft A320neo from Airbus.
The order consists of 12 planes A320neo and 93 A321neo, increasing Saudia Group's Airbus aircraft order book to 144 A320neo family aircraft. The agreement was announced at the Future Aviation Forum in Riyadh, in the presence of H.E.. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, Minister of Transport and Logistics Services of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, S.E. Ing. Ibrahim Al-Omar, Director General of Saudia Group and Benoît de Saint-Exupéry, Executive Vice President of Sales, Airbus Commercial Aircraft.

Saudi Arabia is creating unprecedented opportunities for global aviation through the National Tourism Strategy Saudi Arabia, which aims to attract more than 150 millions of tourists to 2030. This request to Airbus will play an important role in strengthening the Kingdom's ambition to become one of the world's leading tourist destinations.

The family A320 It is the most popular single-aisle aircraft in the world, more than 18.000 orders of more than 300 customers in all markets. The A321neo is the largest member of the family A320neo from Airbus, and offers unmatched range and performance. By incorporating new generation motors and Sharklets, the A321neo offers noise reduction 50% and fuel and CO2 savings of at least one 20% compared to previous generation single-aisle aircraft, while maximizing passenger comfort in the widest single-aisle cabin in the sky. Like all airplanes Airbus, the whole family A320 can now work with up to 50% from sustainable aviation fuel (PURE). Airbus aims for all its aircraft to be capable of operating with up to a 100% from PURE for 2030.
