Despite being a single aisle aircraft, the A321XLR does not compromise on passenger comfort or service, several of the main features of this new version and evolution of the A321ceo are:
- Business cabin: 14 individual seats with direct aisle access, that convert into a fully reclining bed. Individual screens 18 inches with 4K quality, Bluetooth connectivity and USB A and C charging ports.
- Tourist Cabin: 168 seats with recline 4 inches and leather headrest. Modern and spacious design, with tables for electronic devices and additional pockets to store personal items. Free WiFi connectivity for messaging throughout the flight.
More than a plane, a commitment to sustainability:
- The A321XLR aligns with Iberia's commitment to reducing its environmental footprint, thanks to its lower fuel consumption, around a 30% less than double aisle models.
- The plane has bathrooms with antibacterial surfaces, Motion sensor faucets and pedal bin, promoting hygiene and reducing contact with surfaces.
The incorporation of this first aircraft is scheduled for after the summer, followed by seven more units in the coming months.
This expanded fleet will allow Iberia increase its network of long-haul destinations and offer greater capacity on existing routes.
