It's true Nicholas, for example Delta will have to replace its B757 from 2025 or possibly earlier on their flights to Quito with Airbus A321neo or XLR if there is no Boeing 737 Max 10 that it is very difficult to be certified this year and runs the risk of being canceled.

In any case, JetSmart and other airlines such as LATAM could operate in Quito on interregional flights if demand allows it..

The Airbus A321Neo and its LR and future XLR versions make it the most efficient, the one with the best range and load/passenger capacity in a single aisle. Excellent that JetSmart incorporates for its South American routes. Personally I was able to travel with Avianca from Bogotá to Medellín in an A321Neo and the sad thing is that they were withdrawn due to their financial reorganization.

Very good for JetSmart 👍🏻 and hopefully we will see Ecuador one day operate more A321s since the only one that arrives in Quito/Guayaquil is from Jetblue.
