SAUDI ARABIA is ready to buy 39 Boeing 787, other 10 options, using the extraordinary efficiency, Dreamliner's reach and flexibility to sustainably grow its global operation. The agreement will include the models 787-9 and 787-10.
This agreement is part of the broader strategic plan of Saudi Arabia to transform the country into a global aviation hub. Total, Saudi airlines announced their intention to buy up to 121 Boeing 787 Dreamliner in what will be the fifth largest commercial order by value in the history of Boeing. This will support the country's goal of serving 330 million passengers and attract 100 million annual visitors to 2030.
SAUDIA currently operates more than 50 planes Boeing in its long-haul network, including the 777-300IS (Extended Range) and 787-9 and 787-10 Dreamliner. The 787 additional complement existing SAUDIA fleet, allowing you to effectively leverage the value of families 777 and 787.

Since the service began in 2011, the family 787 has released more than 350 new non-stop routes around the world, including some 50 new routes from 2020. The Dreamliner reduce the use of combustible and emissions in a 25% compared to the aircraft it replaces.
