The largest model in the family 737 MAX, the 737-10 can carry up to 230 passengers with a range of up to 5.740 km (3.100 nautical miles), while reducing fuel consumption and emissions by 20% compared to the aircraft it replaces. The aircraft's efficiency and flexibility will allow Pegasus Airlines to serve more passengers on more routes with the lowest cost per seat of any single-aisle aircraft..

«Boeing aircraft have been an integral part of our operations since Pegasus entered the aviation industry in 1990», dijo Güliz Öztürk, CEO of Pegasus Airlines. «We are delighted to expand our fleet with the new Boeing aircraft model 737-10. We continue to invest in our fleet in line with our growth objectives in Türkiye and around the world, and expanding our network with the launch of new routes».

Ozturk added: «Within the framework of our agreement with Boeing, we have ordered a total of 200 boeing aircraft 737-10. The first 100 planes are firmly ordered and we will evaluate the conversion of the 100 remaining aircraft options on firm orders in coming years, "depending on market conditions and the needs of our fleet".

Pegasus Airlines began operations with Boeing 737 Classic almost ago 35 years. The 737-10 will complement the fleet of 737 Next-Generation airline by providing operational uniformity and flexibility to meet growing travel demand.

"We have been a proud partner of Pegasus Airlines since its inception and are excited to welcome them as the new customer of the 737 MAX», Stephanie Pope said., president and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes. "We appreciate your trust in the Boeing team and look forward to meeting the 737-10 and its promise of greater efficiency, versatility and reliability».

As low-cost airlines continue to drive regional growth and connectivity, the 737-10 will help Pegasus Airlines reach new markets in Europe, Middle East, Central Asia and Africa. Boeing's Commercial Market Outlook forecasts that European and Central Asian operators will receive almost 7,900 single aisle aircraft in the coming 20 years.

"If considered within the scope of the Boeing National Aerospace Initiative launched with the Turkish government in 2017, “Our order will also open new doors and create production and export opportunities for both Turkish manufacturers and the broader aviation industry.”, dijo ozturk.

The purchase of 100 planes 737-10 by Pegasus Airlines will increase total orders for the variant 737 MAX to more than 1.200 planes.
