It's time for a new flight report and this time it will be flying to Baltra in Galapagos with Tame EP.

traveling for vacation to Galapagos, where i went 5 days aboard a cruise touring the western islands, I was able to fly with Tame to the “Enchanted Islands” after several years. there for him 2008, I flew with them to this same destination and from there to today, the service has changed a lot.

My flight was the first of the day Galapagos, the EQ191 with estimated time of departure at 06:30 am.

The aircraft assigned was the Embraer 190 HC-CGF with MSN serial number 137 and that arrived at Tame new from the factory from Brazil. This aircraft is configured in a single class for 104 passengers and is powered by 2 motores GE CF34-10E6.

Something that draws a lot of attention in Tame is that they still do not allow the use of mobile devices neither in takeoff nor landing, not even, in airplane mode which makes it look a bit outdated, even more so when the competition already allows it in that way, but i'm sure they will update soon.

The space between seats is quite wide and allows comfortable travel. Equally, the seats are kept in excellent condition and allow you to rest without problems.

The flight took off with 96 passengers and in Guayaquil they got off around 80 passengers, leaving very few that continued with final destination Baltra.

The stopover in Guayaquil was 45 minutes to refuel and load new passengers. Everything was done on time and without problems.

As I mentioned at the beginning, Tame offers to Galapagos only beverage service, without any food, what for those foreigners who paid tickets on the $400 dollars for a flight 2 hours it could be said that it is an unjustified charge.

The flight took place without incident, it's always nice to fly in the quiet embraer 190.

Almost all the year, the landing in Galapagos is totally calm and little moved, it was not the exception and we could see the beautiful colors of the Islands from the air in a perfect way.

The return flight was initially direct from Baltra to Quito, but the flight was canceled, so I would assume it was low occupancy. I was not notified of this operational change and there was no compensation or more information about it.
