What are your expectations about the current vacation season in Ecuador??
JetBlue has already seen success in Ecuador, and we are grateful to our customers for their loyalty. We launched our first daily service between Fort Lauderdale and Quito in the 2016. JetBlue is pleased with the performance experienced on the Fort Lauderdale route, Florida and Quito. Even in the middle of June this year, JetBlue added a second flight on this route due to increasing demand for travel on this route. The second flight will be available until the end of August. We are proud to announce that we have been able to fill these additional seats.. In February of 2019, JetBlue launched current service between Fort Lauderdale and Guayaquil.
Although this route is still a new market, we are satisfied with the performance he has shown this summer, this being our first summer offering this service. This route is achieving a level of performance similar to that of Quito.

For reasons of competition, we do not disclose the number of clients we transport. This year in the month of June, JetBlue made an increase of 195%, which is driven by the increase in capacity in the Ecuador market as we inaugurated flights from Guayaquil to Fort Lauderdale earlier this year in February and added a second flight on the Fort Lauderdale and Quito route. These factors have contributed to the growth we have seen in the Ecuadorian market.. further, JetBlue will launch new service between New York-JFK and Guayaquil starting on 5 from December to 2019. Flights will operate daily and the new route will become the longest within the JetBlue network, spreading more than 200 nautical miles of the current longest route.
How much was your average occupancy in July on your flights to and from Ecuador?? How much was your average occupancy in July of last year?
This year JetBlue's average occupancy was 88%, a little less than last year in the same month. This takes into account the new route between Guayaquil and Fort Lauderdale, in addition to the additional flight on the Quito and Fort Lauderdale route. For this reason, decrease in average occupancy is to be expected.
