the canadian airline Air Canada Rouge gets ready to fly to Quito from Toronto starting in december with 3 weekly frequencies.
The flights of the leisure subsidiary of Air Canada will operate towards the Quito Mariscal Sucre International Airport, initially, seasonally between the 8 from December to 2019 and the 11 May 2020 with 3 weekly flights on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays on Boeing aircraft 767-300.
Within this framework and of the long-awaited first direct historical flight between Ecuador and Canada, the airline obtained the corresponding authorization of operation between Toronto and Quito before the National Civil Aviation Council – CNAC through its legal representative as indicated:

In the application for the granting of an operating permit to exploit the air transport service, public, regular, international passenger, cargo and mail, in combined form, to operate the following routes:
- Toronto – Quito – Toronto with up to three (3) weekly frequencies.
These flights will operate with rights of third and fourth freedoms of the air, The flight equipment that will be used on this route is Boeing aircraft 767 under dry lease modality.
The airline's main base of operations is located at Toronto International Airport..

The flights between Toronto and Quito that have been on sale on the airline's website since March of this year and will operate at the following times:
- Flight AC1950 will take off from Toronto Pearson at 23:45 hours and will land the next day in Quito at 06:30 hours with a duration of 6 hours and 45 direct flight minutes.
- Flight AC1951 will take off from Quito at 08:30 hours and will land back in Toronto at 15:05 hours with a duration of 6 hours and 35 direct flight minutes.
