The group Avianca Holdings announces the start of flights to Asunción and Montevideo from Bogota with 3 frequencies and 4 weekly frequencies respectively.

The opening of routes (the Bogotá-Montevideo flight marks the resumption of this route) in order to keep connecting Latin America is one of the purposes and pillars of the company's strategy within the plan Avianca 2021, within which the opening of new routes for the airline will soon be announced, after the closure of other that did not meet the expected profitability.

“We are very happy to announce the start of the operation of these two routes with which we offer passengers from Paraguay and Uruguay greater connectivity options to more than 70 destinations making a single stopover in Bogotá. Currently, the airline serves Montevideo and Asunción with a daily flight via Lima, so that, with this decision will increase 480 chairs plus to and from Montevideo and 360 additional seats to and from Asunción.
