dutch airline KLM reported that it increases its flight frequencies to the airports of Quito and Guayaquil from amsterdam.
After having restarted regular commercial flights to Ecuador from the Netherlands, the 2 last august, KLM announced this week that it will increase its triangular flights to Quito and Guayaquil from Amsterdam operated with planes Boeing 777.
In this increased frequency, the airline will stop operating 4 weekly flights to 5 frequencies from the next 8 from December, thus taking advantage of the high travel season generated by Christmas and New Year.
KLM flights to Quito and Guayaquil
These five KLM frequencies will operate on the following days and times from December:
- Flight KL751 takes off from Amsterdam at 10:15 and lands in Quito at 16:15 with a flight time of 12 hours.
- After a scale of 1 hour and 15 minutes the flight KL751, takes off from Quito to Guayaquil at 17:30 and land at 18:30 with a duration of 1 Flight time.
- Flight KL755 takes off from Guayaquil at 20:00 and land back in Amsterdam at 13:20 after a duration of 11 hours and 20 flight minutes.
These flights will operate on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesday, Fridays and Sundays with Boeing 777-200ER aircraft, although some flights could be operated by the larger 300ER version.
The airline's offer could be adjusted up or down depending on demand and the arrival of high or low travel seasons, plus the uncertainty generated by the different government restrictions.
