Right now, the route looked highly promising, even it reached a peak of 4 weekly flights since its inauguration last July, but that at the time of cancellation it operated only with two weekly flights on Tuesdays and Sundays on Boeing aircraft 767-200 and 300.

This information has been confirmed by the same website of the airline, where the following message is reflected:
All Miami (MY) <—> Guayaquil (GYE) flights after July 7th have been cancelled. Please contact the call center (+1-855-216-7601) or your travel agent to receive a full refund.
It is so from the 7 July 2021 Eastern airline cancels its flights between Miami and Guayaquil and calls on affected passengers to contact their call center or travel agent, who were also informed of this decision with this statement:

The cancellation of this route would happen due to the increase in frequencies by American Airlines on this same route with 3 Daily flights, plus the increased presence of JetBlue from Fort Lauderdale. Despite this cancellation, Eastern's flights between New York and Guayaquil will be maintained and even with the projection of moving the frequencies from Miami to said route.
At the moment, plans to start flights to Quito from Miami and New York remain for the month of September with their new Boeing 777, logically subject to changes that may occur in the market.

This Guayaquil route- miami is perfect! I had my next trip planned for Easterm.
