Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. announced the delivery of Gulfstream G600 number 50 as the aircraft's popularity continues to rise. The aircraft was delivered to a North American customer.
The G600, entered service in August 2019, features leading fuel efficiency, as a result of advanced wing design and aerodynamics Gulfstream combined with the motors of the series 800 de Pratt & Whitney. Wing design greatly reduces drag and motors provide significant improvements in environmental efficiency. Nitrogen oxide emissions are a 27% lower than the most recent international requirements of the Civil Aviation Environmental Protection Committee of the International Civil Aviation Organization, and carbon monoxide emissions, hydrocarbons and smoke are more than one 75% better than international requirements.

The G600 is also significantly quieter than the latest Stage noise limits. 5, greatly reducing the impact the aircraft has on the communities surrounding the airports during takeoff and landing. Along with the Gulfstream G500, the G600 was the first aircraft, business or commercial, in obtaining the certification of the noise standards Stage 5.

The G600 is built at the company's Savannah headquarters and completed by Gulfstream interior fabricators and at Gulfstream facilities in Dallas and Appleton., Wisconsin.
