The plane is the first to make up “The Most Magical Fleet in the World” and pays tribute to Mickey Mouse. The official launch event was held in the airline's hangar at the Viracopos Airport, in Campinas (SP).
John Rodgerson, blue president, Angel Sarria, director of marketing and sales of Disney destinations for Latin America, Claudia Neufeld, Vice President of Marketing at The Walt Disney Company (Brazil) Ltd., and other executives from both companies were also present at the ceremony. The “Mickey Mouse in the Clouds”-inspired plane will join three other Disney-inspired planes launching later this year and throughout 2022, operating national routes through almost 50 brazilian airports.

at the end of the event, Azul and Disney revealed a little more of what customers can expect from “The Most Magical Fleet in the World” in the coming months. The timing could not be better. The launch of the first plane coincides with "The most magical celebration in the world", that started the 1 of October and will celebrate, during 18 months, the 50 anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Therefore, the action with Azul is part of a very special moment in the field of magical holidays.
The first aircraft selected for the “magic fleet” is the factory-new Airbus A320neo PR-YSH, configured in a class to 174 passengers and powered by CFMI engines. Arrived in Brazil 23 last September and in the coming days it will be incorporated into Azul's active fleet for domestic operation.
