Iberia continues with its objective of stimulating travel as a way to boost economic activity, betting on the recovery of flights. Although it has already presented an optimistic flight program for this winter season, with increases in the short, medium and long radius, and the reincorporation of new destinations such as Maldives, and Cali, on Colombia, is already immersed in the preparation of its summer program, where there will also be significant increases in several destinations of its long-haul network, in addition to the recovery of the route to San Francisco and the premiere of Dallas and Washington.

Latin America with more flights

Latin America is, definitely, one of the most important markets for the airline and for the summer season in Europe has designed a program with more flights to its main markets.

Mexico you will experience one of the most notable rises, with five more frequencies a week, and from April to October it will have 19 weekly flights per direction.

Colombia It is one of the countries that has recently lifted restrictions on flying from Spain. And so, since February 2022, Iberia will have two daily flights between Madrid and Bogotá, exceeding the capacity it offered before the pandemic. What's more, the next 2 December Iberia restarts flights with Cali, route that recovered this summer and will operate again throughout the winter season.

The flights with Argentina will also increase, with up to four additional weekly frequencies, depending on the month. From April to July Iberia has scheduled 12 weekly flights between Madrid and Buenos Aires, which will increase to 14 during the month of August, Already 13 in September and October.

United States with new destinations and more flights

USA It is one of the key markets for Iberia. Even before the announcement of the lifting of restrictions on tourist travel, Iberia designed a program for the winter season with flights to all the destinations it flew before the pandemic. And for the summer season it has scheduled not only more flights, but also new destinations.

In the summer of 2022, New York will have 14 weekly frequencies, four more than now. And there will also be two daily flights with Miami, four more frequencies than this winter.

From March to October, Chicago will also grow from five to seven flights a week, Boston will go from three to six weekly frequencies, that will arrive on a daily flight in the months of August and October, and in The Angels Flights are increased from three to five weekly frequencies, which will reach six in the month of August.

The offer will be completed, starting in April, with two new destinations -Dallas and Washington- and the recovery of San Francisco. Dallas and Washington will have four weekly frequencies and San Francisco, three.

San Juan de Puerto Rico is also part of the joint business agreement for the routes between Europe and the North Atlantic that Iberia maintains together with American Airlines, British Airways y Finnair. From April to August, Iberia will offer five weekly flights between Madrid and San Juan, one more than currently.
