United States decreases negative test time

Adjusting travel guidelines, USA will change the entry requirements (it really is to be able to board the flights) to this country for passengers from all over the world, aiming to receive only vaccinated travelers.

With the focus of encouraging vaccination, the US government through the CDC – Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has updated the requirements for air travel.

Entry requirements to the United States from November

It is so from the 8 November 2021, passengers must, to more than the entry qualifying immigration documents (visa, passport, ESTA and others), meet the following requirements:

    • If you are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19, NO will be allowed to board a flight to the United States, unless you meet the criteria for a CDC exception.
    • If the traveler is American or resident and he is not vaccinated, You will be able to travel presenting a negative test carried out maximum 1 day before boarding the flight.
  • All travelers must present a negative test performed maximum 25 hours before flight departure.
    • Valid tests are: NAAT: RT-PCR, RT-LAMP, DARK, NEAR, HDA, the antigen: Fast.

The test must also clearly indicate that the results are "negative.", SARS-CoV-2 RNA was not detected, “SARS-CoV-2 antigen was not detected” or “COVID-19 was not detected”. A test marked “invalid” is not acceptable.
