Alaska Airlines joined forces with Disneyland Resort, the 4 of May, to introduce a new aircraft themed Star Wars, one of a kind, that even Chewbacca would be proud of. The plane, painted space black with the iconic Millennium Falcon stamped on the tail pursued by TIE fighters, celebra Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the new land of adventures inside the Disneyland park. For this latest collaboration, Alaska's seventh painted plane for the Disneyland Resort, no Jedi mind tricks needed: the force was strong for a Star Wars livery to finally enter the Alaskan fleet. The official name of the aircraft is "Star Wars Transport to the Disneyland Resort" with registration N538AS a Boeing 737-800. After the grand reveal and gate celebration at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, the aircraft made its maiden flight and final arrival at John Wayne Airport in Orange County today.
The unique Star Wars-inspired aircraft design is a collaboration between the Alaskan teams, Disneyland Resort y Lucasfilm. Familiar spaceships span each side of the plane with detailed hand-painted imagery: the Millennium Falcon and four TIE fighters. Disneyland Resort designers focused on the incredibly identifiable and widely recognized Millennium Falcon as the center of attention, plus the busy spaceship was the focal point in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, a land of 14 acres at disneyland park.

To bring images to life, aircraft exterior required 228 gallons of paint applied during 540 working hours during 27 days. for painting, They were used 23 base colors with numerous custom colors mixed on-site for detailed airbrushing of the Millennium Falcon and TIE fighters.
