From the 9 of January of 2023, Delta put one of its largest aircraft back into operation around Ecuador, with its daily flight to and from Atlanta.
remembering history, the airline began operations towards Quito from Atlanta in the year 2006 and from that moment on demand, we see in rotation several aircraft of the airline, currently being the most regular the Boeing 757-200, but also Boeing planes 737-700 with capacity for 124 passengers in three classes, Boeing 737-800 with capacity for 160 passengers in three classes.
Delta increases capacity on flights to Quito
The increase is important in terms of load capacity, as well as passengers, offering practically 700 additional weekly seats between Atlanta and Quito:
- current operation: 193 passengers divided into three classes (20 in first class, 15 in Comfort + and 158 in Economics)
- Operation from 30 October: 242 passengers divided into three classes (26 in first class, 46 in Comfort + and 170 in Economics)
The Boeing 767 of Delta were refurbished to offer the closest amenities that the airline's newest fleet such as the Airbus A350 offer.

- Flight DL633 takes off from Atlanta at 2:55 pm and lands in Quito at 8:10 pm.
- Flight DL632 takes off from Quito at 11:55 pm and land back in Atlanta – Georgia at 5:15 am the next day.
