The low cost airline Wingo announced that it has resumed the sale of its flights between Bogota and Caracas to travel from the next 25 of July.

Itineraries are now available for purchase via Wingo.com. The reactivation of sales on this route occurs after obtaining the final marketing permits from the INAC of Venezuela and the Aerocivil of Colombia.

The airline announced that it welcomes the institutional decision of both governments that allows progress in the restoration of air connectivity between both territories, which results in more mobility alternatives for citizens. Wingo reiterates its commitment to be a relevant actor that contributes to the reactivation of commercial and tourist activity between these two sister nations.

Wingo resumes flights to Caracas

The first flight back from Wingo will take off from Bogota toward Caracas the next 25 of July. The airline will offer its flights between El Dorado Airport in Bogotá and Maiquetía Airport, that serves the Venezuelan capital, initially three times a week- Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturday-, in accordance with the marketing permit issued by the Colombian aeronautical authority. The company will evaluate the behavior of the demand in order to request and increase said operation to a daily flight. The journeys will be made in aircraft Boeing 737-800 NG capable of 186 Travellers.
