Wingo announces that it increases its capacity for high season vacation of this 2023, which officially starts this Saturday 3 June and runs until the end of August.
In total there are more than 65 one thousand additional seats that the airline makes available to Colombians, distributed in 350 flights between June and August.
The 93% of these increases will be located on flights within Colombia, being the flights to Saint Andrew, Medellin, Cartagena and Santa Marta the most benefited. Of the nine routes benefiting from the increases, seven are national, which demonstrates once again the growth of the airline in the local domestic market.
Wingo increases flights and capacity
The airline will locate near 60 one thousand additional seats on seven routes within Colombia. The benefited routes are those that connect Bogotá with Medellin, Cali, Barranquilla, Santa Marta and Cartagena; and those that connect San Andrés with Cartagena and Barranquilla. It should be noted that San Andrés is one of the destinations that most benefited from this increase., with 40 additional flights represented in about 7.500 chairs throughout these three months of high season.

4.500 additional chairs for Aruba
Wingo will also locate 26 additional flights to Aruba, the happy island of the caribbean. These flights will originate from Medellín and Bogotá and will have greater deployment in the month of July. With these additional flights, plus the start of its Cali – Aruba route from July 1, 2023, The airline confirms its position as the company with the most robust point-to-point route network for flights to the Caribbean.
With this increase in capacity, Wingo adds more low-cost offer for passengers.
