The 12 of July at the José María de Córdova International Airport, With the presence of the Colombian president and authorities of the air sector of the coffee-growing country, the inauguration of the F-Air Aeronautical Fair was held 2023.

The next day the doors were opened to the general public and although there were no shows scheduled for that day, one of several F-16 of the American Air Force paraded with some maneuvers. But without a doubt those that attracted the most attention of aviation lovers were 2 Antonov AN-26B of the subsidiary company of AerCaribe, Amazon Air Colombia. Which is a new cargo airline whose objective is to connect the most remote regions of the Colombian and Peruvian Amazon through its flights for both cargo and passengers since one of these AN-26 is configured as a combi (passengers and cargo). In addition to having a striking livery, that reminds us of those of JetSmart and Frontier Airlines.
Besides all this, The static exhibition was attended by fixed and rotary wing aircraft of the National Police, the Air Force and Army of Colombia and the Brazilian and American Air Force. Como Blackhawks, Embraer VC-99B, F-16, Beech 1900D, among other.
The days 15, 16 and 17 of July, The Fair was adorned by more aircraft but in the skies of Antioquia. Those days, air shows were the protagonists of the F-Air. In the morning, The first air parade was carried out by the FAC aerobatic team “Dardos”, made up of two elements IAI Kfir TC12 who performed acrobatics on the participants at supersonic speeds and delighting us with that characteristic sound.
Followed this, a HOUSE C295 of the FAC deployed the parachuting teams "The Wings of Blue" that are part of the USAF and the "Gules Eagles" of the FAC. After this, the same CASA C295 landed and an FAC Blackhawk accompanied it for a special operations demonstration that showed the powers of the Colombian air force to act in the face of natural disasters., environmental crises and other catastrophe scenarios.
In the afternoon and after lunch break, the T-27 “Tucano” aerobatic squadron of the FAC with 3 elements rolled to perform their show in which they paid tribute to Tnte. Crnl. Mario Andrés Espinosa González who died in an accident involving two T-27 Tucano weeks before the fair.
Later came the evening stars, the Esquadrilha da Fumaça of the Brazilian Air Force who delighted with their incredible acrobatics defying gravity and winning the hearts of the attendees by drawing one of them in the sky to close their show. And with a flourish, The “Harpies” paraded the FAC Blackhawk helicopters, which are currently the only aerobatic squadron with this class of rotary wing aircraft. Con flares, acrobatics that defy the laws of physics and other feats brought the F-Air to a close 2023 and they demonstrated the great show that can be experienced in the skies of Antioquia.
