“We arrived in Canada from Bogotá a little over two years ago with our operation to Toronto and today we are very happy to announce the landing of Avianca in Montreal since the end of March as the second destination in that country.. It is estimated that near 600.000 Latinos live in Canada today, so without a doubt this route will help to continue connecting easily from countries where we offer a wide operation, such as Colombia., Ecuador, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, among others; while promoting tourism and business connections between both hemispheres of the continent”, said David Alemán, Avianca sales director for Colombia and South America.

For his part, Stéphane Lapierre, vice president of Airport Operations and Development of Air Services of ADM assured, “ADM Aéroports de Montréal is pleased to welcome the second oldest airline in the world to YUL for the first time.. With the incorporation of Avianca to the list of airlines that operate in YUL, Our passengers will have the opportunity to board a flight that will take them directly to Bogotá, offering them additional access to South and Central America. For an international airport like ours, This is great news, especially since this route will offer arrivals and departures at less crowded times of the day, which fits perfectly with one of our recent development strategies for our air services. It is a great announcement to start the year 2024 on the right foot″.
