- North America saw an increase in 28,3% in annual traffic.
- Latin America recorded an increase in 28,6% in traffic, the best performance of all regions.
- Africa had an increase in 38,7% in annual traffic, being the lowest in the industry.

- The global demand for 2023, measured in freight ton-kilometres (CTK), went down a 1,9% with respect to 2022 (-2,2% for international operations). Compared with 2019 (pre-covid), went down a 3,6% (-3,8% for international operations).
- The capacity in 2023, measured in available ton-kilometers of cargo (ACTK), went up a 11,3% with respect to 2022 (+9,6% for international operations). Compared with 2019, capacity went up 2,5% (0,0% for international operations).
- December of 2023 showed exceptionally strong performance: global demand exceeded by 10,8% the levels of 2022 (+11,5% for international operations). This was the best annual growth in the last two years. The overall capacity exceeded by 13,6% the levels of 2022 (+14,1% for international operations).
Regional performance in 2023
- Pacific Asia: Best year-on-year performance, with an increase in demand for 0,9% and an increase in the capacity of 28,5%.
- North America: Worst year-on-year performance, with a decrease in demand for 5,7% and an increase in the capacity of 0,3%.
- Europe: Decrease in demand for 3,9% and increasing the capacity of 4,5%.
- middle East: Increase in demand for 1,6% and increasing the capacity of 13,5%.
- Latin America: Best year-on-year performance among emerging regions, with an increase in demand for 2,0% and an increase in the capacity of 13,2%.
- Africa: Decrease in demand for 1,8% and increasing the capacity of 5,6%.
