The twenty-third edition of the International Air and Space Fair (FAITH) was carried out from 9 al 14 april 2024 in Santiago de Chile, consolidating itself as the aerospace exhibition, most important defense and security Latin America. This year, FIDAE achieved interesting results, in which it is the first edition completely without a pandemic that is held:
- Participation record: FAITH 2024 had the participation of more than 600 companies exhibiting 40 countries, a 15% more than in the previous edition.
- Increase in the number of visitors: More of 100.000 people visited the fair, a 20% more than 2022.
- Presence of important official delegations: More of 100 official delegations of 50 countries, including defense ministers, commanders in chief of the armed forces and civil authorities, They met at FIDAE 2024.
- Air Show: The public was able to enjoy impressive aerial demonstrations of combat aircraft, acrobatics and commercial, including the United States Air Force F-22 Raptor.
Featured aircraft
Obviously, What we are most interested in seeing and learning about are the different aircraft on static display and also in the air show.. Perhaps this year some aircraft were missing such as the F-35 and greater participation from Boeing such as the 777X and more.

- Boeing E-3 Sentry: The surveillance plane recently incorporated by the FACh was the protagonist for its particular design, history and radar on top of its fuselage.
This is a brief account of the aircraft that participated in FIDAE (I have many more left to name), but for my personal taste they are the ones that caught my attention the most..
The successful edition of FIDAE 2024 consolidates to Chile as a key player in the global aerospace industry and confirms the fair's leadership as the most important commercial platform in Latin America for the sector. The fair generated important commercial and cooperation agreements between companies and institutions, promoting the development of the aerospace industry in the region.
A great event, which undoubtedly allows Latin America continue showing itself to the world as a region capable of achieving and generating enormous and important first-level events, which certainly leaves a lot of room for improvement, but it will allow over time to continue growing in importance and with nothing to envy other similar events in other areas of the globe..
