Emirates has presented a special painting for his A380 dedicated to raising awareness of the humanitarian work of the Emirates Foundation. Emirates press photo

The livery design of the A380 is inspired by the playful elements of the Emirates Airline Foundation logo, culminating with a strong message that encapsulates its mission: “Help support children in need”. The four engine fairings of the A380 from Emirates They have also been adorned with the warm orange tone, symbolizing a better future for the most disadvantaged and vulnerable children.

The new livery has taken the airline's philanthropic message to the skies, and the plane with this painting debuted with a flight to Johannesburg, South Africa, where the Foundation supports two important projects.

Operating under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Emirates Airline Foundation is a non-profit charity providing humanitarian aid, Philanthropy and essential services for children, with the aim of creating a significant impact, sustainable and long-lasting in the communities it serves.

In the last twenty years, The Emirates Airline Foundation has supported more than 50 projects, collaborating with numerous community organizations and NGOs to deepen their work and address children's critical developmental needs for safe housing, food and medical care, as well as their empowerment through education and capacity development. The financing of the projects is possible thanks to the generous donations made on board or online by customers, donors and Emirates employees.

The projects supported by the Foundation have focused mainly on Emirates destinations, where airline employee volunteers can actively donate their time and supervise their management.

Currently, The Foundation supports 14 ONG one 9 countries, including Emirates-CHES Home, a safe haven for 100 HIV positive abandoned children; the IMMPACT girls' education project in rural India; Prithipura Communities in Sri Lanka, that supports 240 you drink, children and young adults with disabilities; the Virlanie Foundation in the Philippines; and Emirates Friendship Hospital in Bangladesh.

And Kenya, the Foundation supports three organizations: The Little Prince Nursery and Primary School, Alfajiri Street Kids and Starehe Boys’ Centre.

In South Africa and Zimbabwe, The Foundation's focus on comprehensive education and healthcare includes: Fikelela Children’s Centre, Singakwenza y St Marcellin’s Children’s Village.

In Brazil, The Saint Rita de Cassia orphanage houses 96 orphaned and abandoned girls, and Externato Sao Francisco de Assis is a non-profit organization that serves disadvantaged children.

At its base of operations Dubai, the Foundation supports the SAFE Center for Autism.

In the last fiscal year, others 20 NGOs have also benefited from the Foundation, more than 500 airline tickets issued to volunteers carrying out medical missions, engineering and educational worldwide.

Emirates Airline Foundation is regulated by the Dubai Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities (IACAD) and is licensed by the Government of Dubai.
