United Airlines, getting ready for summer 2026, announced the launch of four new direct international routes from Newark/New York.
United has revealed its programming for the Summer 2026, consolidating its position as the airline with the most extensive international network among US companies. The big news is the launch of six new transatlantic destinations and the return of all routes from their historic expansion last summer.

United will be the only US airline to offer direct flights to four fascinating cities in Europe, all departing from their hub in Newark/New York (EEA):
- Split, Croatia (SPU): Non-stop summer service, from 30 of April. United is now the only airline with direct flights to Croatia with its seasonal route to Dubrovnik.
- Bari, Italy (BRI): Gateway to the Apulia region, with service from 1 of May. With this addition and Palermo, United will be the only US airline. UU. to fly to Bari and Palermo.
- Glasgow, Scotland (GLA): Scotland's largest city will have seasonal daily service from 8 of May.
