The new ones Airbus A321XLR will begin to be received in 2027 and will have capacity for more than 170 passengers, which will be distributed in seats in Premium Business and Economy cabins. The new Premium Business cabin will have a configuration 1-1, offering direct aisle access for all passengers, raising the standard of travel on this type of aircraft. For his part, the Economy cabin will have a configuration 3-3 with Recaro R3 seats.

The announcement was made within the framework of Aircraft Interiors Expo, one of the main international fairs in the industry. During the event, LATAM presented a preview of the new experience on board its A321XLR, featuring Thompson Aero Seating's VantageSOLO seat for the Premium Business cabin and Recaro's R3 seat for Economy.
The cabin concept was developed by LATAM in collaboration with PriestmanGoode, who advised on the design vision and material selection for both cabins, including joint work with Thompson Aero Seating on Business Class seat customization, lighting and interior finishes. The design seeks to reflect the spirit of South America, with a contemporary aesthetic inspired by landscapes, materials and contrasts of the region.
With this addition, the group LATAM continues to advance its fleet modernization strategy and the continuous improvement of the travel experience, reinforcing its commitment to a world-class standard in South America and consolidating its position as the main airline group in the region, with one of the largest fleets in the world and a projection of 410 planes at the close of 2026.
